The River: Writing Challenge Day 30

You know when you dread something - you know you can do it but you really don't want to and you resent the world that makes you have to do this think that you dread doing?  And then you do it and it's really not that big of a deal and when it's over you are just relieved all over the place?  That's what's on my mind tonight!

  1. As regards the workplace, I found that the anticipation, i.e. coming back to work on a Monday, was almost always worse than the event itself. I just had to get past that vague, but occasionally overwhelming, sense of dread. Once I got into the day, all went well. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on a topic in which I have always had a love/hate relationship.

  2. Oh, I've lost track of the number of times I've "learned" this lesson and still turned around and tortured myself over something that in the end is perfectly manageable and sometimes even enjoyable.
